Copper rod is a kind of non-ferrous metal processing rod, which has
good processing performance and high electrical conductivity.
Mainly divided into brass rods (copper-zinc alloy, less expensive),
red copper rods (higher copper content).
Brass rods are rod-shaped objects made of copper and zinc alloys,
named for their yellow color. Brass with a copper content of 56% to
68% has a melting point of 934 to 967 degrees. Brass has good
mechanical properties and wear resistance, and can be used to
manufacture precision instruments, ship parts, and shells for guns.
Different zinc content will have different colors. For example, if
the zinc content is 18%-20%, it will be red-yellow, and if the zinc
content is 20%-30%, it will be brown. In addition, brass has a
unique sound when knocked, so Eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns
and other musical instruments, as well as Western brass instruments
are all made of brass
Mainly used for air-conditioning pipes, refrigerator pipes, oil
pipes, water supply pipes and various mechanical supporting
materials, automobile synchronizer gear rings, marine pumps,
valves, structural parts, friction accessories, etc.
