Softwall cleanrooms are inexpensive and easily assembled method of creating a cleanroom. They can range from a class 100,000 (ISO 8) to a class 10 (ISO 3). Casters, stainless steel construction, gowning room, strip curtains and prefab wiring kit are the most common of many available options. Standard height is 8 feet but working heights to 16 feet is offered. Free spans to 24 feet can be provided for those applications where internal support legs are a problem. A suspended assembly can be provided with no support legs. Unlike ceiling grid systems which need a support cable every 4 feet, this design only needs supports every 12 feet. A suspended design can be converted to free standing.
These laminar flow cleanroom with soft walls work great for plastic injection molding, pharmaceutical sampling, medical device assembly and any other cleanroom application where a measurable positive pressure is not needed.
