I Process Specification
Put brass over the furnace by the lifting system for baking→Adjust
the feeding speed according to the casting speed. Feed the brass
into the melting furnace for melting (charcoal to be used for
avoiding oxidization) → copper liquid flows into the transition
part (charcoal is still needed to avoid oxidization) → Copper
liquid flows into the holding furnace → Copper liquid flows into
the crystallizer to be copper rods → copper rods enter into
traction device for upward movement → Go through the output frame
→copper rods go through the output frame (to separate each rod) →
copper rods go through the tension frame ( to control the take-up
speed) → copper rods go through the take-up machine,for coiling →

III Price
Note: External water source, cables and wires between the
equipments, air supply, power supply regulator, steel platforms
etc.are not included in the price above. Equipment configuration
list and one year spare parts will be listed in Annex 2.
IV Terms Of Payment
1. Thirty percent(30%) earnest money of the total price stipulated
in the contract should be paid within 7 working days since the day
both parties signed or stamped on the contract. he contract will
take effect on the day all the earnest money is received.
2. Sixty-five percent(65%) of the total price stipulated in the
contract should be paid by T/T before shipment. The shipment will
be arranged when the payment is received.
3. Five percent(5%) of the total price stipulated in the contract
should be paid to the seller within 7workingdays after installation
and test; If the equipment can not be installed in time due to the
buyer's reasons, five percent(5%) of the total price stipulated in
the contract should still be paid to the seller within 5 months
from the date of shipment.
4. All payments should be paid by T/T or bank draft to seller 's
bank account.
V Delivery
1 Delivery time: 60 working days after the complete receipt of the deposit.
2 The buyer bears the equipment transportation and insurance costs;
the seller provides unloading tools and bears the unloading costs.
3 When the equipment arrives at the buyer's site, the buyer should
check the goods, sign written receiving records, and confirm the
consistency between the goods and the lists of shipment.
VI Installation, Adjustment and Acceptance
1. The seller will send engineers to the buyer's site to direct the
installation and test run. The buyer should prepare the
installation site including, but not limited to, hoisting
apparatus, labor power, tools and civil construction, etc. The
buyer is responsible for the civil construction and arrange the
accommodation for the seller's engineers.
2. Regard 2 copper rods coming out from the equipment as the
completion of the test run; the buyer should check and accept the
equipment within 3 days of the date of the completion of the test
run. If the acceptance does not pass, the buyer should submit a
written objection with treatment advice. Otherwise, the equipment
is considered as meeting the contractual specifications and being
accepted by the buyer.
VII Quality Warranty Period
1. The seller guarantees that the equipment performance complies with
the requirements of the contract. The guarantee period of the
mechanical parts of the equipment is 12 months, calculated from the
31st day since the BL day . (The guarantee period of the electrical
parts is 6 months from the delivery date written on the contract;
wearing parts are not included in the guarantee period.)
2. If the buyer does not take delivery of the goods within two months
of the date of delivery stipulated in the contract, the contract
guarantee period will begin on the date of delivery with the same
guarantee period.Within the guarantee period of contact, defects
resulting from the seller's reasons will be serviced and repaired
free of charge; defects caused by the buyer will be promptly
serviced by the seller, but the buyer bears all expenses.
VIII Other explanation
1. Requirement of raw material: 99.97% brass
The surface of the brass should be clean, and there should be no
electrolyte or greasy substance.
There should be no "copper bean", if there is any, it must be
removed . Both the surface and the edge should be smooth.
If there is no mechanical feeding device for equipment, copper
materials should be cut into small pieces for easy feeding.
2. Requirements of charcoal
High-quality white charcoal (commonly known as steel charcoal, pear
charcoal)
Water content: 0.5~1%
Other volatiles: ≤5%
Charcoal particle size: 30~70mm
Not allow sulfur, iron and charcoal had no calcination
Fracture should be shiny, white light, sound crisp when breaks .
Consumption:5kg/ton
3. Requirements of graphite flake
Specification: 3299 or 5099
Granularity: 32 or 50
Require natural graphite flake
Consumption: 0.5kg/ton
4. Civil and common technical requirements:
4.1Equipment area: width 9m, length 15m, height 6m:
The area does not include substation, pump house, office and
maintenance workshop section.
This civil condition is for a continuous casting machine line.
Equipped with a 5-ton crane, track height is about 7.5m.
4.2 Cooling water requirement:
Cooling water arrangement: see cooling water system drawing.
This cooling water is used for crystallizer and inductor
The system also includes an emergency standby water supply, in
order to prevent the event of a power outage or other accident;
emergency water should be connected within a minute into the
system, proposed water tower (height 7m, capacity 10m3) or UPS pump system.
In order to maintain a certain water temperature of the colling
water, forced cooling must be used, usually a FRP cooling tower. Cooling tower specifications: 30m3 / hour.
5. Power requirement
The upward casting machine is for continuous production, which
definitely does not allow outrage, so that standby generators or
dual power supply must be considered. Standby generator capacity
has to be more than 50% of the installed power.
IX Non scope of supply
1. Standby generator. The power supply for the Up casting line
should not be stopped for more than 30 min; use the standby
generator when it stopped. A 150kw generator is suggested for
2000tons up casting line.
2. 2000tons copper casting machine line needs 80m3 water pool, the cooling water flows into the water pool for
recycle use after the sodium ion exchange filters.
3. Emergency water supply. The water supply is not allowed water
stop, the height general emergency water tank and furnace height
difference 7m above, it is recommended to build a tower high above
the capacity of 10m3.
4. The big platform is built by the buyer, and the buyer buy the
construction materials by himself. The seller will supply the
construction drawing.
5. All the connecting wire outside the electrical panel should be
supplied by the buyer.
6. The crane, other equipment for installation and workers.
7. The buy is in charge of all civil works (including
infrastructure).
8. The buy is in charge of water pipe lines for standby water
system and cooling water system.
