Twill Weave 6oz 0.2mm Surfboard Fiberglass Fabric Surfboard Glass Fiber Cloth
Fiber glass fabrics are woven from glass fiber filaments yarns. There are two types of fiberglass cloth which are used for
surfboard fiberglass cloth, E-glass or S-glass fabric. S-glass is
about 50% higher than E-glass on tensile strength, meanwhile it is 25% stiffer in flex. S-glass has higher physical
strength but it is also more expensive than very common e-glass
fabric. Using S-glass reduces heel dings and prolongs the life of
the board. However, E-glass is the most common fiberglass fabric
and is always produced in large quantities. It is a ideal high
strength and economical materials.
