Sintered Filter Cartridge for Co-Mn Catalyst Filtration from PTA Waste Water

The waste generated by the PTA machine contains benzoic acid, phthalic acid and a catalyst. The slurry was rinsed with warm water and the Co2+ and Mn2+ ions were filtered out with the solution. The water of the soluble benzoic acid insoluble phthalic acid is selected as a solvent to dissolve the filter residue, and the mixture is filtered by heat to obtain a mixture of phthalic acid and benzoic acid.

The pH of the solution was adjusted to be about 4, and Fe3+ in the solution was precipitated and filtered using a metal membrane filter. A precipitant was added to precipitate Co2+ and Mn2+ ions in the filtrate, and Co and Mn were filtered out.
