Orbita absorption hotel room minibar uses ammonia solution as cooling agent. The absorption technology principle is as below:

The ammonia gas was abstracted from the ammonia-water-ammonia mixed solution to continuously absorb and diffuse heat so as to realize cool down the space. The absorption system uses ammonia as cooling agent, ammonia solution as absorbent, and helium as balance media.

When ammonia solution flows from the bottom of the cooler after heating, it evaporates as ammonia gas before moving to the heat sink, then it naturally condensates into ammonia solution which finally flows into the evaporator and mixes with ammonia gas.

The gasification rapidly takes away the heat leading to refrigeration. After refrigeration, the ammonia solution continues to sink and reach the bottom of the minibar, then the next cooling cycle begins, see Figure 1.

Packaging and shipping:
