You will have two days of tuition with Lesley Jenkins, learning

The museum has a caf which provides homemade paninis, pasties,
soups and rolls. You can purchase lunch in the caf and choose from
the menu provided on the day.
What will you be doing on the course?
We will prepare our chosen fabric and cut out the pieces using a
rotary cutter. The quilt top will be machine pieced to make piecing
the quilt easier. Lesley will demonstrate quick methods of creating
a square in a square and half square triangles. Borders will be
added and finally the quilt top will be sandwiched for quilting.
Quilting designs will be discussed and drawn on to the quilt top.
You will mark up your quilt and begin to hand quilt your design.
There will not be time to finish the quilt during the day. However,
you will be shown how to finish your quilt and add a hanging sleeve
if you wish to display it as a piece of art.

Really enjoyed the course and I was disappointed that I could not
attend the second day. The venue was good and the lunch very tasty!
Suzi and Lesley were friendly and the class size was just right.
The only thing I would have liked would have been pre-printed
measurements and instructions to work along to and take away.

Really enjoyed my day
Most of all I learnt to do what I have wanted to do for years
Looking forward to 2017
