PAN Carbon Fiber Filament
The process for making carbon fibers from PAN fibers includes a
preliminary step of oxidizing the fibers and a subsequent step of
carbonizing the oxidized fibers.It has some characteristic as following: low density, high
strength, high modulus, well heat-resisting, corrosion-resisting
and acidproof , excellent capacity of electric conductive and etc. Because of its high fatigue strength and long service
life, it can be used as the C/C strengthen materials, such as: golf club, fishing rod and racket. The carbon fiber
filament and its compound materials can be widely used in many
fields as space machines, chemical industry, textile industry,
architecture, household appliances, medical apparatus and
instruments, sports requisites, communications and transportation,
and so on.
According to the raw material, CF can be divided into viscose based CF and polyacrylonitrile（PAN）based CF. There are three forms of the CF：Felt, Cloth and Silk.
