Insulating Concrete Forms (ICFs) are hollow blocks or panels made
of EPS (expanded polystyrene) plastic foam that construction crews
stack into the shape of the exterior walls of a residential (or

The construction industry is evolving with the growing use of
Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs).
ICFs are hollow, lightweight, "stay in place" forms made of 2
panels that are connected by polypropylene webs.
The insulated concrete forms are modular units that are dry-stacked
(without mortar) and filled with concrete. The insulated concrete
forms lock are put together and serve to create a form for the
structural walls of a building. Concrete is filled into the cavity
to form the structural element of the walls. The reinforcing steel
(rebar) is added before concrete placement to give the resulting
walls flexural strength, similar to bridges and high-rise buildings
made of concrete.
After the concrete has cured, or firmed up, the insulated concrete
forms are left in place permanently in order to achieve a 5 in 1
building solution that provides:

The four types of ICfs that we produce have the following
dimensions of the concrete core:
- 15.24 cm (with 6.35cm of insulation on both sides)
- 20.32 cm (with 6.35cm of insulation on both sides)
- 20.32 cm FOR PASSIVE HOUSES (with 18cm of insulation on the
external side and 6.35cm on the internal side)
- 25.4 cm (with 6.35cm of insulation on both sides)
