North Atlantic Networks provides a variety of email solutions to
meet the needs of the SME customer. From simple user accounts,
corporate mail feeds and even mail server backup services, North
Atlantic Networks can handle the most complex enterprise email
requirements. North Atlantic Networks also offers enhanced services
for the demanding SME client whose business demand more than just
traditional network services.
The easiest and fastest service to implement for corporate
customers accounts can be ready in hours. Each workstation on your
LAN is assigned a user account and password, and the North Atlantic
Networks mail server stores email until it is retrieved. Each
workstation may use any email program (Netscape, Eudora, Outlook,
etc.) to send and receive email. A customer domain name may be used
if desired. Administration of user accounts is handled through
North Atlantic Networks's customer care center. Often referred to
as a "POP" account.
E-mail Mapping Service
Often corporations require messages addressed to company domain
name to be forwarded to email accounts elsewhere on the Internet.
For example, a field-based sales force with accounts procured on an
individual basis with various providers. North Atlantic Networks
can maintain and manage this list for a nominal fee.
Mail Relay Service
Used by corporate clients with their own on-site mail server. North
Atlantic Networks configures its systems to send and receive email
to and from the corporate server on site at your location. Server
maintenance and administration is the responsibility of the
customer. An enterprise domain name is required to use this
service. Customer has complete control of all aspects of their
Mail Server Backup / Spooling
For those companies with an on-site mail server who wish to have
their mail "held" in the event of a local failure. North Atlantic
Networks will "hold" incoming mail for the on-site mail server
until the issue is resolved. When the on-site mail server comes
back on-line, mail is retrieved from North Atlantic Networks with
no loss or bouncing of messages.
Mailing Lists & Auto Responders
Corporate customers often wish to maintain a mailing list as a way
to communicate en masse with clients. This type of service can be
used to provide special offers, product updates or announcements
about your company without the expense of a regular postal mailing.
A similar product, the Auto-Responder, is available which will
provide automatic responses to customer queries for information.
Sophisticated Auto-Responders can be designed to query databases
and provide customer specific responses.
