Why?

I believe that this simple question is missing at the media offices. Mass media seems not to be interested in answering “why”. Even though it should be the first to question.

I offer a simple example: there’s are money inspectors, right? Their job is to guarantee the payment of taxes. Very well. But I’d like to know why there’s not an inspector for health, or education issues, to guarantee the taxes would be really applied in those instances.

Someway the journalists who questions became wierd inside the media offices. “Hey boy, try not to be like this, so questioning", said the financial editor to our friend Victor Ribeiro. At the same time, it became natural living in the middle the complete misery. The headlines tell us, without questioning, that 50 million of brazilians are hungry, living with a dollar per day. And nobody gets revolted. But the mass media over here promotes campaings of charity, disguised of solidarity. “Christmas without hungry”, “Disarmament”. And people, revolted, go to the streets. 

I believe we got an extraordinary group here at Fazendo Media. I am sure we will develop a good job. 

And, of course, trying to answer “why”.
