• Just like expected, the highlight of FM 5 was the death of Roberto Marinho, Globo Organization's president. Marcelo Salles wrote one of the best texts ever published on this newspaper, making an analogy between Roberto Marinho and the god of the seas, Neptune;

• This edition also marked the début of a new column of a newspaper, the "Media Monitor", with short notes with facts, protagonized by the media which called attention for the nonsense of its existence;

• The Colombia, the Farc and the way media tackles this themes were analysed by Malu Muniz, who pointed the appoach used by mass media in such cases, when the other side is not listened;

• The north-american troops atack to the hotel where journalists were located, in Bagda, was the theme tackled by Victor Ribeiro. He remembered how mass media "forgot" the case, wich was conclued in a very questionable way, before the omission of the mass media;

• The MST side not shown by the media. Manoela Cesar talked about the course "Formation in Brazilian Reality", result of an agreement between Federal Fluminense University and the landlass peasants.
